Taiwan's GDP to Grow 3.7% in 2015: ADB
March 25, 2015

ADB (Asia Development Bank) forecasts that Taiwan's GDP (Growth Domestic Product) will grow 3.7% and 3.6%, respectively, in 2015 and 2016, thanks to falling oil prices and the island's stronger exports and higher domestic consumption, reported United Daily News on March 25. Taiwan's predicted economic growth this year will outperform South Korea's 3.5%, Singapore's 3.0%, and Hong Kong's 2.8%. Overall, ADB predicts that Asia will maintain a 6.3% growth rate for another two years, with the slowdown in China expected to be offset by improvements in India and Southeast Asia.
